I launched this business in July of 2020.
Clearly, the perfect time to open a touch based business. But after 15 years experience in a variety of establishments, 2 state licenses, 2 national licenses, and a lot of books, I figured if not now, when?
We grew fast. Part of it was bringing my style to Ferndale, part of it was sheer fear of failure, and part of it was my continued effort to provide quality vegan services at affordable rates for the community. I think. There was this other part though. The part that people wanted to be nurtured, they wanted to be listened to, they wanted to just FEEL again. And I was happy to provide sanctuary amidst the chaos in the world. It felt safe. It felt comforting.
Flash Forward 45years and we’ve expanded in staff and suites, we’ve been on national podcasts, started our own podcast, our own networking group, placed in Hour Detroit Best of Detroit 3 years in a row, been featured twice in Massage Magazine, featured in Shores Magazine and Ferndale Friends, and spoken at entrepreneurial events around the State, as well as multiple news stations.
We co-founded the Annual Ferndale Wellness Fair, donated money to charities, have done wonderful campaigns, and cultivated a community of people who believe in healing from the inside out.
